Over the past few months NEC has continued to make strides with its range of products and services in the global arena. In Peru, we launched the first-ever international language translation of the NEC4 ECC, its user guides and training in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) for Peru at the British Embassy in Lima; marking a major step toward wider use across Latin America. In Australia, we released an updated set of Y clauses for use with the NEC4 suite of contracts, aligning them with the changes in security of payment legislation introduced in 2024 and reflecting NEC’s commitment to supporting their growing use in the region. The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) in Singapore recently published new W and Z clauses for use with the NEC4 ECC. These were jointly developed by the BCA and NEC to provide a structured framework tailored to the local regulatory and contractual landscape. We are also working with clients on tailored support, from modular digital content to in-house workshops, that targets specific challenges such as compensation events, programme management or scope clarity.
